Vinden Wines, Somerset Chenin Blanc, 2024

Sourced from the Somerset Vineyard. The block was planted by the Howard family in 2007 on fine clay loam soil, the fruit was hand picked, whole bunch pressed and juice transferred directly to large format seasoned French oak, where the wine underwent barrel fermentation. During the eleven month èlevage, bâtonnage was conducted to build creamy texture to support the fruit and subtle oak spice. Minimal sulfites added.

The palate is generous and flavoursome, with crisp acidity that clinches the palate and provides superb balance to the sweet baked apple tones. There is a gentle savouriness on the nose. Lemony, lovely and long.
