The team at South by South West's love for Italian varietals and vintage spent making Chianti in Tuscany, Italy was the main inspiration to start making make a Sangiovese in 2019. With this wine they wanted to showcase a fruit forward wine with natural acidity and food focus. The palate is generous and flavoursome, with crisp acidity that clinches the palate and provides superb balance to the sweet baked apple tones. There is a gentle savouriness on the nose. Lemony, lovely and long.
